To Burn or Not To Burn.....A CD

As I have written before, downloading movies to one's computer has become quite popular.  You can store as many movies as you like onto your computer's hard drive.  But for those of us who prefer a more tangible means of accessing our movies, burning CD's of your favorite movies might be the way to go.  Once you've downloaded the movie onto your hard drive from a reputable site (make sure you are doing this lawfully) , you now own it.  It is now yours.

You can now take that movie and burn it onto a CD and keep it where your store your DVDs.  That movie now becomes portable as you can take it with you and play it on your laptop.  Or you can connect your laptop to your TV and view your movie on your big screen TV.

And for those of you who are unfamiliar with burning CDs (no you're not setting the CD on fire, you're copying from your hard drive), just follow the instructions on your computer screen.  Or, like me, you can ask your kids or grandkids (once they are done rolling their eyes at you), they can show you how.  It is quite simple to do.

Always go to a reputable site to download your movies.  Violating copyright laws is illegal.  It's just not worth the risk.  Movies Capital is such a site and has a large selection of movies you can choose from.
